How to Check Aadhaar Card Status Online – Step by Step Guide

- Visit the Official UIDAI page dedicated to checking the status. Click Here to Visit Now
- The page will look like this –

- Now Take out the Enrollment slip that was given to you during the aadhaar card enrollment process
Note – if your Enrollment Slip has been lost or damaged, you are advised to follow these steps
- Enter the “Enrollment ID” in the first box
- After That Enter the “Date/Time” in the Second box
- In the last box, you need to Enter the Security Code as given in the image
- Once all these fields are entered, double-check the Entered information
- Now scroll down a little and click on the “Check Status” Button
If your aadhaar card is generated you will see the following –
“Your aadhaar card has been generated. If you have not received the letter please download the “E-aadhaar card”
If your aadhaar card is not generated yet, you will see the following –
“Your Aadhaar number is Under generation”, Please Check Back After a Few Days

Online Aadhaar Card Status Checking – Common Questions and their Answers
When I Enter Enrollment ID, it says “Invalid EID”
You should first enter the complete Enrollment ID first. While entering it may say “Invalid EID” because at that time complete id is not entered. But if after writing the whole enrollment id, it still gives the same error, you must double check the entered EID
While Entering the Date/Time, it says Invalid “Date/Time”
First Enter the complete details, and ignore the error. If the entered info is correct, the error will vanish automatically. But if it still showing it means you have entered incorrect info.
I see an Error – “Invalid Captcha. Please enter a valid Captcha. “
This Happens because while entering the security code from the image, you have mistyped something. Try again and enter the correct code. You won’t see it again.
I see this “Your request cannot be processed now due to some technical issue. Please try again later. ” What to do now?
This is a temporary problem on the server side. You can continue the process again or try another browser.
When I try to check the Enrollment Status, I see this notification -“Your Aadhaar number is Under generation”, Please Check Back After a Few Days”
