Updating the aadhaar number to your Bank account is important for various benefits provided by our Government. HDFC Bank consumers can easily complete the process. In this post, we will be explaining the steps to link aadhaar cards, especially for HDFC bank consumers. I will be explaining the online and offline methods. Those who have availed of the internet banking facility can enter their details online. Those who don’t have activated this facility yet can make use of the offline method.

Aadhaar Card Linking to HDFC Bank Account

Method 1: Link Aadhaar card to HDFC Bank Account Offline Mode(Visiting branch)

Prerequisites :

• Bank Passbook for account details
• Aadhaar card or E-aadhaar along with a clear photocopy
• Application Form – Click here to Download

Process :

• Download and take the printout of the form
• Now fill in the required details in the application form
• You need to enter your Aadhaar number, Bank details, etc
• Cross-check the entered information
• Now visit the HDFC Bank branch
• Hand over the duly filled application form to the bank official along with the photocopy of aadhaar card
• Show your original aadhaar card or e-aadhaar if asked
• The bank official is going to keep the submitted application form and the photocopy of aadhaar for further verification of details
• As soon as all details will be verified, your aadhaar card details will be updated to your HDFC bank account
• You will be notified once the process will complete

Method 2: Using HDFC Interest Banking to Link Aadhaar card to Bank Account Online :

Prerequisites:

• Working HDFC Internet Banking Account

Process :

• Login into your HDFC Online Banking account
• Click on the banner “Link aadhaar card details”
• Clicking the banner will open up the online form
• Enter the details and complete the process

Note: If you can’t see the banner you won’t be able to do the process via online mode
