Aadhaar Card Link up with Bank Account is necessary for Joining all three Jan Suraksha Schemes namely – Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Atal Pension Yojana

All those who are interested to join Jan Suraksha Schemes launched by P.M. Sh. Narendra Modi Ji, might have noticed that it is mandatory to link aadhaar card to a Bank account. Be it, Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, or Atal Pension Yojana it is required that the savings bank account should be linked with the respective bank account. Most people are not aware of the procedure of linking aadhaar card to the bank account. You will be glad to know that you can complete this process via online and offline modes. This article has been aimed to provide complete information regarding linking the aadhaar card and bank account before joining the Jan Suraksha Schemes.

Suraksha Bima, Jeevan Jyoti Bima & Atal Pension Yojana – Aadhaar Card Link Up

Following Banks are participating in the Jan Suraksha Schemes :

Some of the banks that are participating in these Jan Suraksha Schemes include – Punjab National Bank(PNB), State Gramin Banks, State Bank of India, Dena Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Canara Bank, Allahabad Bank, IDBI Bank, UCO Bank, Kerala Gramin Bank(KGB), State Bank of Hyderabad, Bhartiya Mahila Bank, BOB, South Indian Bank (SIB) and various other banks. The linking process of the savings account to the aadhaar card can be done in two modes :

Online Mode and Offline Mode

Online Mode :

The applicant has to login into the internet banking account. After logging in, the applicant needs to click on – Link aadhaar card to a bank account. Aadhaar number has to be entered and an online application has to be submitted.

Offline Mode :

Applicant needs to download the aadhaar-bank account linking application form. The details like savings bank account number, aadhaar number are to be entered and the application has to be submitted.
