All banks in India have set up Aadhaar enrollment/updation activity at their designated branches across India. Any resident who wants to apply for Aadhaar or update their Aadhaar can visit designated bank branches.
Preparing for Aadhaar Enrollment and Update
The first requirement to update or enroll Aadhaar is the documents, you need to carry the original documents while visiting the branch.

Bank entertains Aadhaar requests directly through walk-in without any appointment. Earlier many banks like Axis Bank, etc. had the option to book appointment online but this option is no longer available.
Most of the banks have not designed a separate page on their official website for booking online appointment for Aadhaar update and enrollment. However, the applicant can directly visit any bank’s Aadhaar service enabled branch for enrollment without online Aadhaar slot booking.

Process of enrolling or updating Aadhaar at bank branch
Resident should carry the original document while visiting the bank for Aadhaar enrollment or update.
By downloading the Aadhaar update form or enrollment you can prepare in advance so that you don’t make any mistakes while filling the application form at the branch.
You can skip the process of downloading the form if you want, as Aadhaar enrollment form or update form is available free of cost at all bank branches
Go to the nearest bank
Get Aadhaar Update or Enrollment Form from Bank Branch Aadhaar Kendra.
Fill every detail in the form clearly, make sure you enter your mobile and email id.
Attach the documents with the form and submit to the branch officer
The officers present at the branch will scan your documents and return the originals to you
Your details will then be entered into the Aadhaar software and your biometrics such as iris, fingerprint and facial photo will be captured.
Once the process is completed as an acknowledgment, you will be handed over Aadhaar Update Receipt or Aadhaar Enrollment Receipt.
You should maintain this receipt with you till you get your Aadhaar card delivered at your doorstep or until you receive the SMS on your mobile number where Aadhaar has been generated or updated.

Are Aadhaar Enrollment and Update Services in Banks only for Bank Customers?
No, this myth is generally wrong. Any resident of India can visit any bank and get Aadhaar enrollment or update service. There is no requirement that residents have an account with the same bank, Aadhaar centers in banks have been set up by the UIDAI and the Government of India.
