Attach the documents with the form and submit to the branch officer

The officers present at the branch will scan your documents and return the originals to you

Your details will then be entered into the Aadhaar software and your biometrics such as iris, fingerprint and facial photo will be captured.

Once the process is completed as an acknowledgment, you will be handed over Aadhaar Update Receipt or Aadhaar Enrollment Receipt.

You should maintain this receipt with you till you get your Aadhaar card delivered at your doorstep or until you receive the SMS on your mobile number where Aadhaar has been generated or updated.
